Tracking your Congo Post (SCPT) package through PostTracking is quick and straightforward. Our system collects available scans from international postal networks, giving you the clearest picture of your shipment’s journey.
To track your item, follow these steps:
Enter your tracking number: Type the code from your receipt or confirmation email into the search bar above.
Click “Track”: The system will pull all available information.
Review your results: You’ll see the package’s current location, previous scan events, and an estimated delivery window.
SCPT does not yet operate a complete online tracking system. Their official website mainly provides service details, pricing, and branch information.
For international parcels, you can use our platform.
Enter your tracking number to view any available scans shared by SCPT or by the receiving country’s postal service.
Because digital systems within the DRC can be limited, offline tracking remains common. You can:
Visit a local SCPT office with your receipt—staff can check internal records.
Call the main office in Kinshasa for manual updates.
Use the destination country’s postal website once the item has been handed over internationally.
This is especially useful for parcels heading to Europe, the United States, or neighboring African regions.
Congo Post uses the standard UPU S10 tracking format:
Two letters at the beginning (e.g., RR for registered mail)
Nine numerical digits
Ends with CD, the country code for the Democratic Republic of the Congo
Example:
RR456789012CD
Always enter the full code—including “CD”—to avoid errors.
A typical SCPT tracking number looks like:
RR456789012CD
Make sure your entry matches exactly, with no spacing errors or missing characters.
As your shipment moves through the network, you may see these status messages:
Accepted: Item received at a post office.
In Sort: Being processed at a sorting center.
On Route: Traveling between facilities or regions.
Customs Check: Under review for international shipments.
Out for Delivery: Courier is delivering your package.
Delivered: Successfully handed over.
Held Up: Waiting due to fees, verification, or address issues.
Returned: Sent back to the sender.
These updates help you understand whether everything is on track or if an issue needs attention.
Delivery speeds vary widely depending on location, transport conditions, and regional accessibility.
Domestic delivery estimates:
Major cities (Kinshasa, Goma, Lubumbashi): 3–7 days
Remote areas: 7–14 days
Example: Kinshasa to Goma typically takes 4–6 days
International delivery estimates:
Africa: 5–10 days
Europe & USA: 10–21 days
Other regions: 10–25 days
Customs processing may add additional time
Seasonal peaks, weather, and road conditions can affect delivery windows, but SCPT prioritizes reliability.
SCPT provides a mix of essential postal and modern services to support both residents and businesses:
