Tracking your Central African Republic Post (ONPE) shipment through PostTracking is simple, even though ONPE’s own digital tracking is still limited. Our platform collects available data from UPU systems and international partners to give you the clearest updates possible.
Enter your tracking code: Take the number printed on your postal receipt and type it into the search field on the page.
Start tracking: Click the “Track” button to pull in any available scans.
Check your results: You’ll see basic status updates such as acceptance, processing, dispatch, transit, and delivery checkpoints—especially for international parcels handled through UPU networks.
For cross-border shipments, PostTracking often retrieves additional milestones recorded by partner postal services.
ONPE currently does not operate a full-featured online tracking system. Their digital presence mainly covers administrative information, so tracking is limited.
For tracking international or EMS items, you may use:
The UPU Global Track & Trace system
Regional EMS partner trackers such as ems.dz (used by some African networks)
Enter your S10 tracking number there to see any available scans.
For domestic shipments within CAR, tracking is primarily handled manually at postal counters.
Because digital systems are limited inside the CAR, offline tracking remains common. You can:
Visit a nearby local post office and present your receipt—they can check internal logs.
Call the main ONPE office in Bangui for verbal status updates.
Use the destination country’s postal website once the parcel is handed over (e.g., USPS for shipments headed to the United States, La Poste for France-bound items).
These options often provide more timely updates for both domestic and international movement.
ONPE uses the standard UPU S10 tracking format, which includes:
Two starting letters (indicating service type: RR for Registered, EE for EMS)
Nine numerical digits
The ending country code CF for the Central African Republic
Example:
RR123456789CF (Registered)
EE987654321CF (EMS)
Ensure you enter all characters, including “CF”, for accurate tracking.
When available, you may see these status messages:
Posted / Accepted: Item received at a post office.
In Processing: Sorted at an ONPE facility.
Departed Origin: Left the Central African Republic.
In Transit: Moving between international hubs.
Arrived at Destination: Reached the receiving country.
Customs Clearance: Under inspection for duties or verification.
Out for Delivery: Local carrier is delivering the item.
Delivered: Successfully handed to the recipient.
Attempted Delivery: Delivery failed; pickup may be required.
Returned: Sent back to the sender.
Domestic parcels may show fewer updates because scanning is limited.
Delivery times inside the Central African Republic can vary significantly due to road conditions, regional accessibility, and security factors.
Domestic Delivery Estimates:
Bangui to major cities (e.g., Berbérati, Bambari): 3–7 days
Remote villages and hard-to-reach areas: 10–14 days
International Delivery Estimates:
Other African countries: 5–10 days
Europe / USA: 7–21 days
Asia and Oceania: 10–28 days
EMS shipments: typically 3–7 days, where the service is supported
Weather, customs processes, and logistic constraints may affect timelines.
